It is the more popular and effective technique. Though there is no need to invest money, we can get the best result from it.
2. Paid SEO:

It gives a short time result which is not reliable also. The site’s ranking depends entirely on paying to Google. When you pay, your site is shown on the top of the search results marked with Adword’s Sign, but when you don’t pay, Google doesn’t display your website on the top maybe even not anywhere in the search results.
There are other three types of SEO :
1. White Hat SEO:
White Hat SEO is considered as Ethical and Organic SEO which is a technique used to improve search ranking on SERP. It follows Search Engine rules and policies. White Hat SEO is a lengthy process but it provides long-lasting progress in rankings. So all should follow White Hat SEO techniques.
Some of the techniques of White Hat SEO practices are below:
a) Using relevant keywords,
b) Creating high-quality content,
c) Improving website navigation and
d) Speeding up website loading time.
2. Black Hat SEO:
Black Hat SEO is considered Unethical. It is a technique used to improve page rank on SERP by violating Search Engine rules and policies. It provides quick, unpredictable but short time growth in rankings. If you use Black Hat SEO, search engines will add your site into their Blacklist.
This is performed by using the following techniques :
a) Link Spamming/Manipulation,
b) Keyword Stuffing, Cloaking,
c) Duplicating Contents,
d) Sneaky Redirects,
e) Using Hidden Links and
f) Using Hidden Texts.
3. Grey Hat SEO:
This is a combination of White Hat SEO (95%) and Black Hat SEO (5%).
It is a procedure of improving page rank by following Search Engine policies, although they are regarded as ethically suspicious.
Here are some techniques of the Grey Hat SEO practices :
a) Link Purchasing,
b) Excessive Internal Linking,
c) SEO Squatting and
d) Content Spinning.
